The auction house is kept informed about items booked for collection so that they know that the customer has arranged transport.

Delivery to the customer

Once the item(s) have been collected from the auction house, we arrange delivery to the customer.
Some customers want direct delivery, while others collect several items from different purchases before the final delivery is made. Both options are possible.

No two jobs are alike. We offer tailor-made solutions for objects of all sizes and shapes.

Whether it’s a collection of smaller items or a single large sculpture, we have the expertise to ensure that everything is transported safely and on time.

When it comes to auction goods, these are typically unpackaged items. Everything is therefore packed manually onto the vehicle when it is driven:

  • Furniture is packed in moving blankets and cardboard where necessary.
  • Paintings are always packed in bubble wrap.
  • Porcelain and tableware are packed separately in crumpled paper (newspaper – just without printing ink).
  • Clocks and watches are taken apart and packed separately in moving boxes.
  • Prism crowns are hung or packed floating in cardboard boxes with S-fill (Styrofoam/packaging chips).

At our export packing facility, we also manufacture special packaging that ensures maximum protection throughout the entire transport process. From small fragile porcelain items to large antique furniture, we take care of every detail and tailor packaging to suit the customer’s specific goods.
